The Role

The HR Ops Coordinator isboth a strategic and hands-on role where you will be a team player responsible for providing administrative and analytical support to the HR function in the areas of HRIS, benefits, and compliancein an established and fast-growing company and industry. As a key member of the HR team, this person will interface with employees at all levels of the organization. You will work alongside an HR organization that is internal-customer focused, and places importance on our ability to support, and bring out the best in each other.Initially the role will focus on the HR systems currently in place, but will also evaluate alternatives to current systems and collaborate on future implementation efforts to adapt new/better HR software solutions, as well as improvements in our workflows and procedures.

Your day-to-day

HR Operations

  • Administer key HR processes such as onboarding, off-boarding, employee changes, benefits, employee life events and reporting.

  • Ensures continuous process improvement for all HR processes and works with HRIS team to execute.

  • Administer key HR processes such as employee changes and reporting.

  • Assist with the documentation of internal HR processes and controls as needed.

  • Use HR data to collect, enter, audit, analyze and produce reports and metrics for analysis and decision-making. Pull reports and analytical data as needed from HRIS

  • Serve as a point of contact for HR inquiries from our employees regarding policies, employee data and HR processes and systems; escalate as appropriate to HR functions and business partners.

Benefits Eligibility/Administration

  • Occasionally auditing the global enrollment to ensure that all employees are enrolled in the appropriate plans, etc.

  • Assist employees with escalated benefits-related questions and resolving issues as needed.


  • Assist with compliance activities related to all programs.

  • Update compliance calendar, as needed, assist the team with the annual check for new forms/new legislation, OSHA posters, etc.

  • Understanding of fundamental HR Operations for compliance.


  • Assist with department projects and initiatives as needed.

  • Assist with the documentation of internal HR processes and controls as needed.

  • Assist with records retention project, as needed

  • Serve as main point of contact for HR inquiries from our employees regarding benefits, and policies; escalate as appropriate to HR functions and business partners.

What you bring to the team

  • Strong knowledge of health and welfare benefit programs, including medical, prescription, health savings accounts.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent planning and organization skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

  • Demonstrated project and time management skills.

  • Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.

  • Experience working with HR databases.

  • Strong and proven analytical skills.

  • This person must be independent, detail-oriented, excel in a fast-paced working environment and an effective team player.

  • This individual must work effectively with team members to Vice President level employees within the organization, across functions and with external vendors. The ideal candidate should be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert (SME).

Experience and Education:

2- 4+ years of HR experience, with an emphasis in HR Operations/Benefits Administration\Knowledgeable of ADP’s WorkForce Now system.

Experience with HR systems other than ADP highly preferred

A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree; a focus on Human Resources preferred; or equivalent experience.
