The Role

Our Billing Support Specialist is a key player to the service we provide our customers. The Billing Support Specialist is responsible for working with customers and internal employees to send invoices, answer customer questions, and resolve issues while maintaining a high level of customer service in all communications. This position is a prime opportunity for someone looking to launch their career with an industry leader.

Your day-to-day

  • Send invoices using email and vendor portals in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner

  • Maintain a clean record of customer accounts payable email addresses and invoicing portals

  • Maintain an audit trail of sending invoices (when they were sent, who they were sent to, etc)

  • Manage various invoicing email groups and address any customer concerns

  • Work closely with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure invoices were delivered and scheduled for payment

  • Additional billings tasks/projects, as needed

What you bring to the team

  • Prior experience with invoicing/billing is preferred

  • Ability to communicate effectively with necessary parties to ensure invoice detail and documentation is updated and entered in the system appropriately

  • Good analytical abilities to help answer questions and resolve issues

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment. When month and quarter end orders come flooding in, you have the stamina to work late until billings are completed!

  • Self-motivated with a knack for being meticulous, detail oriented, and organized

  • Must have strong people/customer service and communication skills

  • Solid MS Office and Computer skills – knowing how to create formulas in Excel a plus

  • High computer application literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems
